Book #3 is in progress and my goal is to complete it by the end of April (yes, 2012). This book has been nagging to come out for almost 2 years now, but I kept dismissing the idea because I didn’t feel that I had the credentials to pull it off. Finally, Deb looked at me and said, “Angie, just write the damned book!! There’s a reason why it keeps after you – just write it!” So, that’s what we’re doing. It is, what I believe to be, the missing piece in the weight control puzzle. There are millions of books out there that delve into the nutrition part or the exercise part, even the spiritual part, but I haven’t read one yet that TRULY addresses why we are the way we are and why we stay the way we stay. Obesity is an epidemic in the industrialized world and it just doesn’t have to be that way!! I dare to say that 99% of the populations KNOWS what they need to do to lose weight and get in shape, but they haven’t cultivated the mindset to DO it! This book will delve into that subject. I’d love to hear your comments and suggestions – what’s missing in the weight management books you’ve read? What causes you to be successful or unsuccessful on a weight control program?
